Consultation Fee: The initial consultation fee is $300.  During your consultation, you will meet with the attorney for approximately one (1) hour to discuss the specific facts of your case and will receive legal advice regarding your rights and obligations.  Payment is due at the time of the consultation.  For clients who are stationed or reside outside of the Tampa Bay area, consultations are available by phone with an appointment.

Refundable Retainer: We do not want money from you that hasn't been earned.  All funds are held in trust until the work is completed for those funds.  In addition, our retainer fee is refundable, so if your case costs less or does not take as much time anticipated, we will refund the remaining funds to you.  Conversely, if your case costs more or takes more time than initially anticipated, we will ask you to replenish the retainer in order to continue working.

Retainer Amount: Because each case is different, we do not charge a "standard" retainer amount. In general, you can expect we will require the following retainers:

Uncontested dissolution (with or without children) -- $2500 and up

Contested dissolution -- $3500 and up

Modification of child support or alimony -- $2500 and up

Modification of child custody, visitation or relocation -- $5000 and up

Enforcement of Child Support or Alimony -- $2500 and up

Enforcement or Clarification of Military Retirement -- $3500 and up

QDRO -- $750 and up

Scheduling: To schedule a consultation, please call (813) 254-0156.

Forms of Payment: Credit cards, checks, cash and money orders
